    Wiper park switch

    Finally got around to removing the wiper motor assy. I stripped it down and found assembly grease had worked its way into the switching contacts. Gave them a clean up, put the housing back together and works a treat. Thanks guys

    I have plugged another spare motor assembly in and everything works exactly as it should so I didn't test the wiring. The info about the internal cam is the bit I was hoping for. Going to pull it apart and have a look, see if its not just something simple from bead blasting the motor before...

    Wiper motor working fine in low and high but doesnt reverse or park. I have a good earth at th motor and when I plug another motor in and earth it it works and parks. I beadblasted the assembly when i rebuilt the car and thinking it may have some beads in contacts/ switch stopping it from working

    Can someone tell me what switches (cam ?)the wiper park switch and its location please, is it in the housing the armature bolts onto , ibehind the ceramic piece? Its on a 72 satellite.

    If thats what gets it going and on the road, good job. Looks like good work and easily reversible if you were to ever sell it to a purist. Its not like you need to have the hood open or tell everyone whats under the hood, and in that case it's another great sounding v8 powered charger cruising...

    Can anyone tell me the correct thread for seat belt bolts in my 1972 Satellite. I have 7/16 - 20 bolts with my new belts but they don't seem to fit. Visually they are appear the same pitch but the thread depth is bigger on the 7-16-20.The 7/16 bolt is bigger by the smallest fraction. Have tried...
