I will be inheriting a 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme convertible that’s needs a new top. I’m pretty mechanically inclined. How difficult is it to replace a convertible top yourself having never done so ?

I assumed he had these for or from the tractors. But, I also thought that maybe it was for the Model A cars. But, I couldn’t accept they would have been for any model A type car with the clear covers. But, I wasn’t sure.

All of these reproduction tanks sold today are of good quality. I’ve bought a few from different manufacturers. They are all well made. Sending units are a different story. None of them are accurate. But can be adjusted to be accurate with a lot of tweaking.

I’m tellin ya. Over rated on a street car. A 2 barrel will get the job done, just as well. The key, is having a good running motor. Period

Yeah, no motor is the same. This one has matching heads, stock exhaust manifolds. It screams. It would probably run even better if I could find a 2 barrel spacer. I doubt anyone makes them ? It runs too well to want to swap the intake or carb.

Nope, it’s a 73. Has the pcv valve on the stock intake too. Early small block don’t have the pcv or carb choke built into the intake.

It’s possible. But, I highly doubt it. This car hasn’t been tampered with much. But, I ll have to check the numbers.
