Thanks for the response. I ended up bolting mine up yesterday and it appeared to bolt up fine and the steering column looks to bolt up O.K. The steering coupler rebuild kit I bought for the column wasn't the right one so now I'm waiting on another one before I can finish everything up.
Did you install one of these? If so how did it look in comparison to your original? I've bought one from Autozone but it doesn't look like my original. It looks more like a Lares brand. I've not tried bolting it up yet.

Keith Black Hyp pistons
906 Heads
214-181 stainless valves
Comp 470 Lift Cam 1.6 Roller Rockers
