Thats what I did. You can buy the pigtails on e-bay cheap.

Just wire in the factory harness. You will need to source the connector to plug into your switch connector. Or just find a 2 pin Deutsch Connector.

So did that fix it?

With those photos the MSD box is not being used. If it was the coil would be driven off the MSD box which the photos show it clearly is not.

Eliminate the possibilities. You are obviously overlooking a very simple system. That red wires ends do not look healthy either.

Get that old condenser out of the system and run the wire from the distributor to the coil negative. Are both point sets opening? Is there 12 volts to the coil with the key on and when cranking? You should be able to trouble shoot that in minutes.

Doesn't the key in buzzer only have 3 pins?

Only 3 wires pretty simple.

Unbolt the pump and start it see if the noise is gone.
