Engine offset maybe TWO inches?
Just measured the tunnel in my 69 Charger.
I also measured the dana 60 and that is a tad over TWO inches as well.
Like the fat people gags and its a steering box issue, then the fat folks came much later...:popcorn:
I have owned several A-Body UK import Mopars...
They were cast by mother Mopar in the late sixties to overcome the hemi ban.
Passenger car ''W1 heads'' never made it into production.
2.250 intake valves and 1.780 exhaust valves nice.
Extra cooling passages like the late MH heads too.
There was a time it was 'always' yellow and red for 68 and 69 Chargers!
So folks got bored with that and now they are going factory GREEN.:nutkick:
My 71 GTX is green but a much nicer Limelight available in 71.

Yep its rare stuff here in the UK as well, he has never seen a PLUS 3kgs bob weight...
I have found another shop but its 300 miles away, but to you guys its nearly next door!

Took my crank, rods and pistons for a balance and the guy can't do it?
He can't believe the Bob weight is over 3kgs approx. 3.113grams.
They don't keep enough weights to do that amount of balancing.
Is the 3.113grams sound about right or has he made a mistake?

Yep we had teething troubles too but nothing like yours!
My first though is that's a 440 carb not a 520ci carb.
We had ours built by HP carbs and they recommended a 950cfm.
