Stock power steering unit will probably interfere with installation of most aftermarket headers if you have a B or RB engine. Borgeson unit is expensive, but will save having to dent the headers for clearance.
Hi Guys! I've got the chance to buy an Alterkation Coil over front suspension kit (complete with rack and pinion and 1-1/8" sway bar) from a friend of mine whose '67 Belvedere was burned up in a garage fire. The fire never touched the lower section of the car. I've inquired to Alterkation as...
Thanks Guys. I know I can always find an answer here. I'll check the resistance, and at the coil. In the mean time, I'll also keep a new resistor handy. Thanks again
Last week I had my 66 Belvedere on a 200 mile cruise and the ignition resistor died. I know one of the rules of old Mopars is to have a resistor in the glove box. I had one (no idea what ohm it is), but I'd like to know what ohm resistance is the best for a 440 with Mopar electronic ignition...
Hi Bruce! Are you looking to get rid of all the parts at once, or are you going to sell them piece by piece? I'm mostly interested in the 67 Belvedere stuff. I don't know where I'll put the stash, but it sounds like you really need to deplete your inventory. I'm in NWI and can pick up...
Welcome SbirdSteve. Great 'Bird. If you can, haul it to the Chicagoland Mopar Connection show in Belevedere, IL. Maybe even enter it in the show. Check their website for the dates. Galen Govier usually shows up there and might be willing to answer some of your questions.
Hi d fark! I'm running a mini starter on my 440. I've had great luck with it for 9 years now. It was built by a guy named Jim Arco. He builds racing starters and alternators. Mine cost $99 back then - I think he's up to about $110 now, but call him and talk. His number is 708-422-2976. He's...
Congratulations on the Charger! Needs work, but that is a worthy project. I favor the 67 Charger and am looking to find one for myself. I'll score one eventually, but for now I'm happy with my Plymouths and Dart. BEWARE of the MOPAR sickness! Once contracted, it has the ability to keep you...
Does anyone know where I can get the small window guide pins that go through the top of the door glass? It holds the glass in the vent indow channel on 66 - 67 B-bodies.
Thanks for the help!
You guys wanted some pix, so maybe I can get them to attach. The car is all Mopar except for the interior and steering column. I built a trailer hitch and we towed a camper to a gathering about 250 miles (one way) away from home. The show is the "Frog Follies" in...
Hey guys! I picked up a 1946 Plymouth P15 sedan (custom suicide door car). It has a 1977 small block 360 and a front frame section that was added from probably the same donor car. My question is: The front suspension (frame clip section) needs to be rebuilt. How can I tell if it's a...
