I've got a 69 Roadrunner rolling shell here in Tucson with a straight body and zero rust. I'm guessing it will take me 3-5 years of saving and spending to bring this baby back to life.
My dilemma......what is the best way to get started? I've got enough money in my project fund to...
Just picked up my 1969 Roadrunner project car. It is pretty much a rolling shell. I have title (and obviously the VIN) but no fender tag or build sheet. Is there a way I can determine what options this vehicle had on it when it was originally purchased besides the fender tag? Any web sites...
Sounds like the "nays" have it...unless the guy can show me the entire VIN stamped on the vehicle somewhere (which I doubt), I'm going to pass.
Anyone know where I can find a $1000 - $3000 69 Roadrunner project car with a clean title? The last two (this one and the one from my other posting)...
Also, which plants produced 1969 Roadrunners? I've been told only Lynch Road, Los Angeles and St Louis...is that all of them? If I can get him to find that portion of the VIN stamped on the car and it doesn't reflect the correct production plant, then I might be able to rule it out as a...
Is there anywhere on the vehicle (besides the VIN plate, fender tag and build sheet) that will have the entire VIN stamped?
Or, a location(s) on the vehicle where I can find the "first half" of the VIN (which I am defining as something like RM21H9...) and the location(s) where I can find the...

The guy I spoke to said he looked all over the car and told me...
The partial VIN that I was passed to me (I didn't put eyes on it) contains RM21HMR9. He left the info on my voicemail and his message was garbled. He said that based on what he knew, he thought that it had a 440 in it and that he "thought" the partial VIN supported that
Thanks for the quick response...no paperwork at all on it. I'll probably go more along the lines of a restomod route than original show quality restoration (correct seat covers, block wires, etc). I'm a little concerned about the rust...once you start into something like this and get it...
I've got a time-sensitive deal in the works for purchasing a project car and need opinions on this situation quickly.
A friend of mine has a 1969 Roadrunner (pics attached) with a partial VIN that indicates it most-likely had a 440 originally with an automatic transmission. The car is pretty...
