I recall seeing someone somewhere posting that you could use a 15” outer portion of a particular Ford wheel cover and install it onto the center portion of the 14” 68/69 wheel cover, allowing you to use these on 15" wheels.
Any thoughts on this? Seen or Done it?
I’ve been scrolling through eBay...
It doesn’t have to be hot outside for vapor lock. It was more prevalent in the “old days” when it was hot out, because gasoline was formulated differently. Todays gas boils easier.

Just in case-
You do know the bulbs will only go in one way, yes? One pin is higher than the other-one slot is deep, the other shallow.
OK, Also, I've had where the contact on the bulb was kind of "mooshed" not allowing me to push and twist the bulb, smoothing the contacts helped with that...
Thank you for checking. There’s someone on FABO thats checking for me as well.
I don’t want to hold you up any, but I’d like to exhaust other options before committing to that, because of everything else that’s involved with that much difference, and I’m already pretty tight Fan to Rad.
Yes, I would prefer single belt, but 2 main criteria:
1-3/4 to center of V groove, and
6-1/2 min. diameter, prefer not over 7-1/4,
Could live with 2 belt grooves and 7-3/8 diameter if that’s what’s out there.
Mount surface on damper to center of V needs to be 1-3/4” or very slightly over.
I have no room to use more than 1/8” fan spacer if absolutely necessary, space is tight, this is for an A Body project.
Thanks for checking if you can,
Rod
PS, low post numbers, I’m mostly on FABO since 2012. Goldmember
Good morning All
Other than the one bolt slightly off on earlier stuff,
Are Mopar crank pulley bolts all the same hemi to small block -6 bolts and a 2-1/4” register?
Or
Will a hemi crank pulley fit on a small block and vise versa?
Thanks for any info you can provide,
Rod
I actually have been in communication with Year One & got a reply from them today. They say no response from the manufacturer, but he is going to try to talk to his management about getting a replacement.
PS. So far I don’t feel like I’m bashing anyone, just advising fellow classic car owners...
I have not been on the phone with them yet, I sent the above quoted comments to them via their customer service “Contact us” page. I don’t intend to go further until I get some sort of, or lack of response.
Im kind of tired of spending money on supposedly better products then getting poor customer service when you have a legitimate complaint. I am tenacious enough to join a bunch of Chevy, Camaro, Firebird, Corvette, (their primary core) Bronco & Mustang forums to copy this thread.
I purchased the 3 point seatbelt conversion set for my 68, wanting some semblance of safety, (not dry rotted and with proper shoulder restraint) I sent the following to Year One. (Seatbelt Solutions of Jupiter Fl. is the manufacturer) With YearOne saying they get no response from SS, I am now...
I have 11 x 2-1/2 drums. I'm under the impression that there are different Backing Plates for 2" -vs- 2-1/2" shoes/drums. Do you know if that's correct?
Somebody in the past put a spacer under the drum. If I remove the spacer, the drum scrapes against the outer lip of the backing plate.
I'm...
