I have no info for you, sorry, but am curious as to the fix. I have a 63 with push buttons and have been thinking of using a 65 trans also. I'm sure some member has the answer. Good luck

As for a stroker, I have a 512 in my Roadrunner and wish now I would have built something much tamer for the street! We're talking 600 HP. Oh it's fun to drive for short outings, but to go any distance, too loud and really drinks...
I have one from about 3 years ago from Vans and it does work properly. I was a little skeptical at first, but it is on the money! In my 68 Roadrunner by the way.
Maybe get a quote or two and post here to get feed back to see if it sounds reasonable? I had my differential done by my engine builder and did the axle bearings myself. Cut the old stuff off and use a shop press to put the new on.
