    Should I upgrade my cam

I guess I should have just said a pro touring car that's mainly going to be driven on the street. Maybe some track days here and there. But essentially upgraded suspension, big brakes, wide front and rear tires, and powerful motor. Stock 1972 Pro Touring 1971

    Should I upgrade my cam

It looks like the leak is coming from the driver's side rear header bolt.

    Should I upgrade my cam

All very good points. Right now the goal of the car is to get it on the road and will be a fun second car for the street. Maybe drive to work once a week/drive on the weekends. My long term goal of the car is a pro touring style street car with a built 400/4 speed so I'd end up probably...

    Should I upgrade my cam

So I'm getting closer to pulling the top end of my 400 motor apart to replace my gaskets and bolts. I have an exhaust leak at the header, an oil leak at the valve cover, and a coolant leak at the head so I'm pulling it apart to fix all of this. Along with it, replacing plugs and wires, new...

    72 floor pans glued/epoxied - rigidity

Thanks for the input guys. I'll have to get back under the car and look closer and also pull the seats and carpet and check from the top. It looks like the pans overlap so maybe it was welded from the top and then the seams were glued. This is what it looks like near the transmission tunnel...

    72 floor pans glued/epoxied - rigidity

Has anyone epoxied/glued in new floor pans? When I purchased my RR a couple months back, it already had the front floor pans cut out and replaced but they were glued in and not welded. It looks like it is from about the back of the front wheel wells/firewall to where the transmission meets the...

    72 Roadrunner Taillight Harness

Thanks for the help guys. I'll see if I can get a connector to put it together. I'm going to pull the bumper off to check the rest of the wiring. Hopefully I can get the lenses off to replace the bulbs too. The screws are rusty and don't want to come out. Plus I need to clean up all the rust on...

    72 Roadrunner Taillight Harness

I recently purchased a new rear light extension harness to connect the main harness to the taillight harness. However, the connector on the taillight harness doesn't match. Am I missing something or do I need to find a new connector to splice in? This is the connector already in the car.

    New Guy

Thanks everyone! I should have noted it's actually a 400, not a 440. It had the sticker on there when I bought it, but it is a numbers matching motor which I think is cool!

Hey Everyone, My name is David. I'm a youngin' that had been looking for a muscle car to build and decided I wanted a Mopar. I just recently found my 72 Roadrunner and can't wait to get it on the road. Here are a few pics.
