Thanks Mech440, I have engine apart now so it is an easy swap. The info is great, I feel pretty confident about using the Mopar stand-alone kit now, I will swap the TB when I get there. Cheers!
Mech440 - did you change the tone/reluctor ring and sensor to 2013 or later as well? And did you re-balance the crank with the new ring? Some say you need to some say you don't?
Thanks Moparedtn - this is what I thought they should be too, maybe the car was a late production and the 68's went on? Or maybe this was an export car? Not sure why but mine is not the only one.
The car they are on is a low-option car, 318-2bbl, manual steering and manual drum brakes, auto on the column, no console. About the only option is a sure-grip axle.
This 1967 Hellcat powered Charger debuted in the Axalta booth today. Super nice - check out those wheels fashioned after the full caps in 1966/67. The builder is Rutterz Rodz out of Bristol, TN.
My 1967 Charger has the small dog dish hub caps, they appear to be original. However when I look in old brochures they don't appear. They do appear for 1968 models. Strangely I have seen other photos on the web with these caps (pic below). Maybe they were available in 1967 too?
