The AVS2 has some upgrades over the performer.. but basically the same carb.. either one would be as close to an AFB as you are going to get while going new..... if you want an AFB, rebuild yours or have it sent to someone who could rebuild it..

ya.. it would just be a temporary thing until I got the numbers motor redone this winter.. but we will see what happens.. might pull the heads off and see what it looks like before I pull the whole motor out
yup, someone added some superbird decals to the quarter panels... The plan was to get it drivable and run/drive it the rest of the summer, but the motor is locked up. I have a '66 383 I might do a quick motor swap on, just to make it run/drive while the other motor is getting fixed, but haven't...
If you are open to earlier models, and a little higher budget.. I have a '66 satellite. Waiting on a trans seal, and will be running/driving. new dual exhaust, all new brakes with disc up front, new wheels/tires.. new carpet. Its a buckets/console car.. Needs some quarter work.. and small areas...
