Thanks for the reply and your right (I have found) that it did change in mid year...some went from the compressor to the driver's side fender than around the front of the radiator support over to the condenser. Have since had a Vintage A/C system installed. Works so much better.

I just had a Vintage Air System installed in my 70 RR (factory A/C car). Was not cheap but works great. You should probably look at what upgrade you will have to do with the cooling system (if any). I did not have the correct type of radiator in mine and need to upgrade to the right one...
