If you want handling buy a late model car?? My RR has the stage 3 firm feel box and it handles very well. I really enjoy showing up sports cars in the twisties. If you want the stock box, go for it. I dumped mine ASAP, as it gave no feedback through the wheel, and just seemed way to overpowered.

I’m pretty sure TTI sells manifold back exhaust systems. If your engine is mostly stock, headers won’t add much hp. Headers are a pain for sure.

So no leaf flex, but the leaning of the car huh? My car is very stiff. Mopar HD biased springs, KYB shocks and a 3/4 sway bar, so it doesn’t lean much. Maybe the rub marks are from me driving fast with 4 people. I’m gonna drive it soon solo and see if it rubs.

It’s a 69 rr. The reason I’m worried is because when I removed the MT 275 50s, I noticed tire rub marks on the inside of the wheel well. I’m assuming the leafs must flex some.

That’s exactly what I had. They handle very well too. But I’ve been caught in the wet before, almost looped the car at 30mph, that’s why I’m looking for same size regular radial

Hello all. Does anyone know if a decent 275 50 15 radial tire exists? I was running that size in a MT drag radial, but I’m not racing anymore, and it was “sketchy” in the wet. I’ve found plenty of 60 series, but I like the handling and look of the 50 much more. Thanks in advance!

Why would anybody put two springs on a front wheel? It would only ride “nicely” if the torsion bar was really loosened up, or I’d imagine it’d be very harsh. Mopars torsion bar suspension in know to be well engineered, and when upgraded some, works nice.
