    1968 XS Parts advice

The car has wide 15' wheels that look great with the mounted 295 50'15's and 245 60 15's but I was thinking I'd get a set that were original for it as well for shows. Before I spend the money, I was trying to figure out what the car came with. My father had a 68 RT new back in the day and it had...

    1968 XS Parts advice

Thanks for the reply and insight, I may see if I can repair mine somewhat. As for the tires, was aware that the tires were bias and not radial but trying to figure out what wheels the car would have come with. It has 15" magnums, and they look cool, however I absolutely know that's not correct. :)

    1968 XS Parts advice

Good morning Guy's, I don't post much but do very much enjoy reading this forum and all the knowledge on it. I own a 1968 RT Charger with a build date of May 4th. I post the date because I understand the ashtray design did change in '68 and I believe my car has the early style. Couple of...

    Matador Red Touch Up Paint

Hey guys, Anyone found an "over the counter" touch up paint that matches '68 Matador Red? I've looked at a bunch of Dupli color sticks at the local parts houses and they are all to light. Or if not, online options? Would rather not order a quart from the Paint Store for one very small rock...

    1968 Charger ****

Dad and uncle bought it from Ford through Carol Shelby when they quit "officially" GT racing after '67.

It's Tail Light Tuesday Whatchya Got?

As I stroll through these images it never ceases to amaze me how back in the old days manufactures made changes to both front and rear year after year. All that tooling, r&d and then keeping inventory on all those different models. Crazy expensive.

    Odd Car show comments

The strangest show comments I've gotten were about a new '05 Ford GT I had just purchased. I had taken it to the So Cal John Force Christmas fund raiser car show in early Dec. People constantly ask me "what year my Ferrari was"? The car literally has "FORD" on both doors and a blue oval on the...

California Car Covers THINK TWICE before you buy.

I purchased a cover from them back in 08 or 9. Pulled it from the box and immediately notice a hole in it. Called them the same day as delivery and requested an exchange. Was told by CS that they would only patch it if i sent it to them, no refund or exchange. Will never purchase from the again.

    2006 Ford GT hammered for.....

Chevrolet, Ford and Chrysler, I like them all. Those who focus on one maker are missing out IMO.
