I dont have a problem using Omni base, BUT buy the best clear you can afford. Your base is just your color no protection there, the life of the paint is going to be the clear.

Is there anyone running these yet on there B body. I am looking at them to replace polished Torque Thrust on my 68 Sport Satellite. The black is powder coated and the machined surfaces are clear coated.

I am running TTI headers and a X pipe but Ive never noticed a difference between a X pipe and without. I actually have a exhaust shop at home and do it on afternoons and weekends so I have done quite a few different setups over the years.

2 1/4 with Dynomax 17747 mufflers. 20 inch body and 25 inches overall. I run the 2 1/2 version and resonators on my 68 Sport Satellite convertible. No drone at all, with or without the top down. I use Flowmaster Flow FX round mufflers for resonators. Basically a glass pack but stainless.
