Unfortunately not what I was hoping for. Best time was 14.0 for the day. Zero traction! Same car/motor with an Automatic and 300lb less weight did 12.8 in 2002 so I need to practice the 4 speed!

Thank you! that is EXACTLY the look I was after! lots of hidden things in the interior for modern usage but kept the retro look. (8 track modified to accept an amp and ipod jack), small hole in the gauge cluster for a shift light, and cruise control lever re purposed to a line lock button)

6 way adjustable seat - worth it?

Wow! Fran Blacker and B-rad, thank you! this is so helpful. This gives me plenty to chew on and study. I like the idea of just adjusting the tilt vs. getting the new tracks but now seeing the pics, I don't know. Man, thank you both!

6 way adjustable seat - worth it?

There is a 68-69 set on Ebay as well, but for that kind of money, Classic Industries has a brand new set. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Mopar-B-Body-1968-1969-6-Way-Bucket-Seat-Tracks-Charger-GTX-Hemi-J16507/143513414979?hash=item216a10ed43:g:Ap0AAOSwEFheLc6W:sc:FedExHomeDelivery!01876!US!-1

6 way adjustable seat - worth it?

Looking to keep my interior stock including the seats on my 68 Charger but want some more comfort and adjustability. I am tossing the idea around of swapping my tracks on the driver seat to the factory 6 way adjustable. first, is it a straight up swap for my non adjustable ones? Second, for...

Why wasn’t a factory performance hood offered?

Couldn't have said it better myself! That is exactly what I did, for now it is hanging on the wall, just have swap out the springs for the softer ones but that is pretty simple. I also have the pistol grip ready to swap in as well for when I get tired of the ball..

New Torsion bars vs. stock bolts

Hey there. I searched the archive, couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. I am about to replace the torsion bars on my 68 Charger which are the original 50 year old ones including the bolts and adjusters. I bought the 1" PST set and my question is will my current stock bolts be too...
