Thanks beautiful car and launch. I'm leaving at 3400 shifting 6300 both shifts for 1/8 6,50 index. 1/4 mile shift points are 6500 to second and 6700 to third. With 133 mph puts me at 10.02 to 10.04. 64 Belvedere 3250 with me 451 stroker 3800 converter

Had to rebuild my hood scope so I added 1.75 inches to the bottom and vented it .Have carb now sitting .5 inch below opening in the hood. Haven't been able to try full pass but had to add 4 jet sizes to carb for about 1200 ft pass.

Anyone going to race this Sunday?

Like Doug said try what you have. If you have the extra money go for the Dana. My street rod (3200 lb ) has taken teeth off 2 set of ring gears and destroyed 1 center section by pinion and broke the bearing cap. 29 x 10.5 tire leaving at 3000 rpm ladder bar car with 1.43 60 ft 400 ci tunnel...
