`70 road runner, FC7, 383, 727 It`s waited long enough, finally time to get it done.

Finally found a decent rear bumper as mine was pretty bent up. I bolted it up so I could check the tail panel and lower quarter lines and I am pretty happy with them so mud work can continue and eventually primer some day.

Mud work has begun! Ok I am jumping around a bit as I still have some work to do grinding welds down low. I have cleaned all the silicone off the rear glass but still need to drop it in place to check the fit before calling the channel areas good but figured I'd start some filler work. The seams...

A little more progress, spare tire mount welded in, strips welded over the quarter/roof seam so there will be less filler, first coat of All Metal.

    1970 models WITHOUT headrests?

I agree all `70`s should have them but can anyone document/verify any that didn`t have them?

    1970 models WITHOUT headrests?

"Effective January 1, 1969, each passenger car manufactured on or after that date had to comply with the requirements of FMVSS No. 202 [9]. The standard required a head restraint for the driver position and right front seating position to reduce the frequency and severity of neck injury in...

Cars for sale with NO price listed...

Worst ads on Facebook - "I`m thinking of selling my ____ , it`s been restored, shoot me an offer." No price, no location, no detailed description, maybe one blurry pic.

Not much progress that shows in pics but I have been working on it. Clamps are hung back on the wall and I'm finally done with welding on quarters! After I get some epoxy on them I am going to start fixing the mess some previous owner made of the floor pan.

Restoring An Old Mopar With An Extremely Bad Back?

I trust Dr`s as far as I can throw them, which with a junk back isn`t very far. I think you have to decide for yourself - do you still actually enjoy the process and still want to do something or just give up and sit on the couch he rest of your life? I understand every situation is different...

Restoring An Old Mopar With An Extremely Bad Back?

I agree that many back problems are due to weak core but I would guess more like 50% as most people I talk to about it were due to some injury or accident. I am 6' 150 pounds so not at all overweight and have always been in good shape and very active, mine happened over time due to some injuries...

Restoring An Old Mopar With An Extremely Bad Back?

I have always done almost everything myself including body work. There isn`t that much heavy lifting I have to do - jacks, hoists and an extra hand when I need it for doors, hoods and such. I can`t afford to pay someone to do the work or buy a done car for $30-40k so I`ll keep plugging away and...
