Has anyone mentioned how the qtr window assemblies in the 1972 Plymouth Sebring satellites were way over engineered or that the amount of grease used on the window regulators was really, very abundant?

I’ve been working on the door and quarter window regulators which were quite dry. In some places, there was obscene amount of dried grease and in the slide area, there was no grease at all. I don’t believe these received any fresh grease since the day the car was born.
