BURNOUTS, donuts and general showing off? Proper procedure??

For what they want there is no need for speed. You should be able to control the burnout by feathering the throttle (no need for super hi revving) and riding the brakes. Once they get smoking you can keep it going with the brake pedal. You're doing a side show!

If your car is B5/B5 what color is your interior metal trim?

I have had success using delfleet essentials on areas like the interior and other less important areas. Adding a flattener makes the magic.

Rattle Can or brush on engine paint?

    How many shop hours?

I recently swapped out my 391 and installed the 323. The actual time to remove, install and set up the axle bearings took about 3 hours. If I had paid a shop to rebuild the 3rd member going back in that would have cost around 1800 here in San Jose. Good luck and welcome to the expensive world...

Steering Wheel - Restore or Replace?

I restored mine by removing the plastic surface. It had been ruined by years of baking in the Nevada sun. Then I found some heater hose that I split so it could wrap around the metal wheel. I then stitched a gray leather kit around it. The other parts were just painted.
