I just bought a nice driver 64 sport fury with chrome aftermarket wheels on it. Looking to put torque thrust and either white letter or redline radials on it. Hoping to get a 225-70 on front and a 275-60 on rear. Will that work? size of rims and backspacing? Car is Black with a 383 automatic...

    b body throttle cable?

I am happy to say that I put the throttle cable, adjustable bracket and return spring set up on tonite after work. I feel that is is a high quality, user friendly set up that will work for a very long time! I got the cable that was 21 inches overall and would not go any shorter, maybe a whiskey...

    b body throttle cable?

I did not install yet, turned on the heat in the garage and people stopped by to visit. Couple hours passed and I lost my ambition, turned the heat off and went back home. The parts look great and I am very confident they will work good. hopefully put on soon.

    b body throttle cable?

I have a 69 Coronet R/T with a 440-4bbl. My stock original throttle cable frayed and wore out, the one I got from Classic industries is longer but I thought I could make it work. I have a Torker 2 intake with a Holley carb and a 1 inch spacer. The new cable is not going to work, it is too long...

    shoulder belts

Thinking of adding shoulder belts to my 69 Coronet R/T "driver" I have a bolt location up above the window so I don't think it is a big deal, but just wondering of any suppliers for this. I am not looking for a show quality set, just a functional, safe, black set of 2 front seat belts. Thanx, Jack.

Bill Maverick Golden passed away yesterday

Wow, met him at big daddys museum and was a fun person to talk to. He would say, lets see, I was married to so and so when that happened so that must have been 1972. Fun guy who will be missed by many. Did a lot for the sport and had more fun than we'll ever know

    b-body exhaust question

Thanx to all who replied, I think i am going to try a set of mufflers with the inlet and outlet at the same end and get a set of exit ovals from stainless specialties. I hope it is not too loud, but nothing ventured, nothing gained. I remember the guy who built his own mufflers and did an...

    b-body exhaust question

I have a 69 coronet r/t with a 440, hooker headers, automatic. I have had dual flowmasters turned down at a 45 degree angle down and out towards tires for 20 plus years. It is ok on pavement and works great for blowing tire smoke everywhere during burnouts, but makes lots of dust in dirt parking...

What are the signs of a bad rear axle bearing?

you could do like i did and drive 4 hours to carlisle and when you have gear oil on the inside of your rear tires, you will then know, indeed that you have a bad axle bearing (and seal at this point) I was lucky and got new bearings, seals before I did any damage to axle tubes or gears, but took...

    Confused guy at gas pump

I live in a small town and have had a coronet r/t for 34 years. People ask me "you still got your roadrunner" I say yup! (at least they are not calling it a cramarrow or moosestang)
