The only way to find an oil leak is to clean the area up with brake cleaner. Check the oil to make sure it's full. Then start the engine and lay under the car with a good light and watch where the oil is coming from. You are making this way harder than it is.
Once you get the bleeder loose take another wrench and grind it down until it's thin enough to loosen the bleeder without knocking the hose loose. You don't need to use one of those fancy bleeding things if you have a buddy to help you by pumping the pedal up and a pan to catch the old fluid in.
