2 questions for the winged warriors

The guy who own the Joe Dirt Charger posts on DodgeCharger.com don't know if he's on here though. And even though it's a clone of sorts did anyone notice that somebody took the time to make the rear window look correct? As for the Dazed and Confused Bird did anyone notice that when ever the characters are at the drive in the car is there. All the main characters come and go through out the evening but all the back ground cars never move.

I am new here and glad to have found this forum. Back in the 80's I had a black Superbird too. I lived in Denver then. The car was originally yellow and it was a 6 pcak 4 speed car. I loved the black color.
On the nose where the headlight areas were to be black, It was a flat black.

Being a curious sort(in more ways than 1) I wondered if anybody could answer a couple of questions I have. (1) Is the car on Joe Dirt real or parts on a Charger? I still cringe when he tears the wing off! And (2) Does anyone know what happened to a Superbird that was in a hoglot in Beverly IL until the early 90s? It was actually out in the country near there. It was a blue column shift 440 car and it was like the Holy Grail in our area for quite a few years. It was a 1 owner and he parked it in a hoglot after the trans quit. True story! People came from all over the country looking for the car. I worked for a guy that ran a body shop there and he said people about drove him nuts stopping by to ask directions! A friend of mine got pictures of it as close as he could get and it had dents and sat down to the rockers in the mud. Somebody finally got it bought and I wondered what became of it. I never saw it because it wasn't a 68-74 Nova and I wasn't interested enough to go see it! I did see the hemi emblem off a 68-70hemi charger that was crushed in the early 80s locally, meet the owner of a factory 383 Dart that got crushed in the early 80s for lack of a buyer, see a local factory super stock ford 66 or 67 that has less than a 1000 miles(a 1/4 mile at a time), all Holy Grail quests for a young gearhead but I never saw the Superbird. It was gone before I got there. I wonder if Lionsgate needs a script for a new movie. Boy searches for true love, gets off track with the wrong sort of car from the other side of the tracks, spends all his money on it all the while his true love lies rusting away. Years go by as his mental illness rules him only to be awoken by the rumble of a big block Dodge in the distance. Now wide awake he rushes to the distant hoglot to find, "Gasp", she has been claimed by another who could see her Hemi orange was not just a shade of Chevy orange. Despondent he vows to remain loveless for a number of years until another sexy Mopar crosses his path in the shape of a wingless sister to his true love. A beauty in her own right is the sister Charger but silently our hero knows she will never fully fill his heart. For to settle for less would be to love an acup while longing for the dcup that got away.
Seriously, any answers would be appreciated.:Whdatk:
I live in NE Missouri . I work with the nephew of the owner of the blue Superbird you were asking about . Tried buying it myself several times myself . Offered him ten grand at the time , around 91 I think . I took pictures of it , walked around it , and talked to the guy several times . He had just moved it out of the lot and up to his house . Had no intention of selling it , but i left a business card . His nephew told me one day it was gone . He sold it to someone for 25 grand . B5 blue , 440 , column auto , 4BBL , white interior , 98,000 miles showing . All original , all complete , right down to the air cleaner . But its sold , don't know where it ended up , but if you'd like to see pictures , I have a few . Hope you can put some closure to this . I also have pictures of another B5 , 4 speed Six Barrel 'Bird I found just last year . Its truly a crime what some people do with their cars , but it is their cars , so they can do what they want , I guess !!! Just sucks for those of us who would sell their souls to own them !!!

At least it was just a clone. Before the movie was it restored into a Daytona clone? What has the new owner done to it?

It'd be awesome to just have one of these even a clone. One from a movie even better. That Better off Dead Camaro is a cool story. I remember seeing the Thelma and Louise Tbird on Barrett Jackson and then the gold Caddy from Ghosts of Girlfriend's Past on ebay.

I remember when the American Graffiti duce coupe and black 55 chevy were in Hemmings motor news for $13,500 for the pair!!

Omg! I would love to have both of those. I'd give them
