I bought some door seals a few years ago and just not installing them. All was going good and then started not looking right. I looked at the package and realized they kit was for a hardtop (1968 superbee) so that means even the bottom half for the door is wrong also right?

So it looks like I will have a kit for sale soon if someone needs it.

Sorry maybe this should have been in the exterior section

Identical door shells between a couple/hardtop. A guy would think the wind seal would be the same running around the door, but the seal in the jam and around the quarter window would obviously be different between the two. I could be wrong...Someone with a post car will hopefully chime in

Where did you buy your seal package from?

I think soft seal but have to check. The door seal looks good but it seams like I am missing something at the top of the back of the door, but I could be wrong. Maybe some pictures of the actual door seal all the way around would help if anyone has some. Thanks

Do you have the correct roof rail weatherstrip in? Those are different between a sedan and hardtop. There is also a molded rubber piece that goes on the end of the door seal at the top rear of the door. Maybe that's what you're missing?

I will be able to take some pictures this weekend. I may have put this on backwards I guess if that is possible. I have the wrong roof rail seals as the package says "no post" and back then did not know there was a difference when I bought these a few years ago. Thanks for all the help

If we had known that before, we could've traded the roof rail strips for the stainless post covers, lol, I have a hardtop.

Is this right?

So this is the drivers door seal. Is this right? Seams wrong to me but like I said I have the wrong upper seals (for a hard top) and I have a post 68 superbee. If someone has pictures of how it is supposed to be please post them for me. Thanks
