1967 Ford Galaxie XL 428 convertible

428 ci engine, auto trans, power disc brakes.
Runs and drives excellent. Interior is very decent. Body needs work, it has been hit in the front.

The top goes up and down easily, but the back window needs to be replaced. This can be done without removal of the top on these cars.

Very cool car and I wish it was closer!

I was recently told by a Ford parts expert that there were no Autolite 4300's in 67, but seeing the intake pic I see a 4300 fuel inlet. Do you know if that is the original carb on this engine?

That's a good looking car, I have allways liked the mid sized phords from the `60s. Beautiful country you are surrounded by too. Good luck with the sale.

Me too but that is NOT a mid size. The Galaxies were the same size as the C body Mopars.

Its only 12 hrs or so! It would be a nice drive. I'd be comfortable driving this just about anywhere.

On the carb, I'm not sure if its the original or not. There is a rubber feed line that seems like it should have been hard line. But it may be someone added the filter at a later point.

Thanks, its a pretty awesome place. I was just admiring it this morning after dropping my wife at the airport. coming down into the valley through a canyon, with the snowy mtns in the background.

Pic from before I moved here. This is just up the river a bit.

Yep, that's a 4300, and with the C7AF tag it's most likely original.

Ha! Where'd you find that picture of me?
