By 1967 the muscle cars wars were heating up and Dodge fired a strong yet subtle shot with the Coronet. Now these cars were quickly purchase and many pressed into drag racing duties. A lot of these car were sold to unsuspecting customers who were just looking for a stylish car and they soon found out that a tap of the pedal under the right foot woke the beast under the hood. This 1967 Coronet 500 is decked out in Y2 Yellow with a white interior and bucket seats with a center console. Black Vinyl Top
The emblems on the side warn the cars beside it at the stop light that under the hood is a 383 cubic inch big block that has the larger valves heads some call the California heads and is topped with a four-barrel Holly Carburetor.
A 727 torque flight 3 speed automatic transmission and an 8 ¾ rear axle 3.23 sure grip Posi unit completes the drivetrain. This car was well equipped in 1967 with not only power steering and brakes but also factory air conditioning, many of these components have been upgraded new and works great! This car is so nice that even the clock keeps the correct time thanks to a quartz movement. To sum this up, the odometer shows 84000 and the previous owner and myself believe this to be the correct milage. This classic soldier in the muscle car war will not last long. Options for this 1967 Dodge Coronet 500 include: Air conditioning, AM/FM, Power steering and brakes, Spare tire and jack, Vinyl interior, and radial tire wrapped around Dodge rally wheel.
I have enjoyed this car and it drives as well as it looks . It will make someone a
wonderful old car which will win many awards at car shows .
