Lenses

They are hard to come by but are out there. EBay is one source. Are you looking for the plain lenses or the ones with the chrome accents? I have a plain set but I am afraid that what they are worth in today's dollars would likely scare you away....:surprised-005:

Search ebay (include Canada in your search), seems there is a guy in New Brunswick Canada that is reproducing them. I need a good set of Satellite style (with the chrome inserts) and have a couple of Belvedere I style in real good condition.

does any one know where i can find a rear pass. tail light lens?

Having been on the hunt for the same thing for the last several months I can offer you some up to date advice. You will see the '66s come up on Ebay every few months. I've bid on at least 4 (singles or sets) over the last few months. You probably already know this, but as a reminder be sure to search under '66 Satellite parts as well (some sellers don't know they are interchangeable)
Here's what you can expect. Bidding will be mellow for the most of the auction, and it will look like you can snipe 'em for around $50 or $60. At the last minute the bidding will be fast and furious, and they will end up selling near or over $100. Driver quality singles and sets are out there. I noticed your car looks to be in really nice shape. If you're looking for a near perfect set, be prepared to spend a small fortune and be patient. Oddly enough, singles and sets seem to sell in the same ballpark. Perhaps it's just the wierdness of Ebay (timing is everything). I would say to be patient. When you do find the single/set you like, don't cheese out by trying to get them cheaply and bidding too low.....you'll be sorry in the end. Put in a strong bid and be glad you won't have to wait another 3 months for the next auction.
BTW- your car looks mean!

ruffwrtr2-
There are 2 on Ebay now. 1 is listed as a 66 Belvedere, the other as a 1966 Satellite. They are both average condition, but the Satellite listing looks to be decent. You may have already seen them.....another thought would be to buy one cheap that has some issues and maybe take the parts you need between yours and the 1 you buy to make a good taillight.
I actually could use one of the chrome inserts for my spare light, so if you do find something and end up with a extra junk light....let me know if you'd be intersted in selling one of the inserts.....
Now back to work on the Belvedere!

Good luck

Saw them as well. I would jump on them ASAP. If you don't have one already, set yourself up with a Sniping tool. Best asset when it comes to bidding. Good luck.....

Here is a place that should have them. They are in Oregon City, Ill. They are called MOPAR City. I don't have their phone number handy but if you do a Google search you can find them. They seem to be pretty reasonably priced on the stuff that I have purchased in the passed. I would be really surprised if they do not have them. Good Luck.
