barn find...

The fender showing is a 69, and the VIN shown is for a 68, so the fenders have definitely changed.

I thought a lot of neat-o stuff came standard on a gTx until I bought a 70 and found out they could come as low-end as any road runner, the difference being you could get a 440 instead of a 383.

I bet it was built from parts, possibly spent time in a junkyard. Nothing wrong with that, just make sure the price reflects what you can verify, not just what the seller is telling you.

I agree..

It looks in the pictures like its in real good shape! Good luck on it...

68

check the rear side marker lights. round=68, rectangle = 69. Front fenders are easily changed. Rear quarters not so easy...

68 tail lights have a C shaped silver divider. 69 tail lights are solid red.

GTX has 150 mph speedo. All others 120 mph.

GTX has vinyl/wood trim. GTX emblem on the dash.

If a 4 speed car, GTX will have dana rear.

GTX trunk lid trim is removable, argent silver paint with red tape. Satellite also. GTX emblem on the trunk lid trim. If there is not little GTX emblem, look for two little holes (RH side).

I've owned 6 of them, back to 1968.

welcome fellow Buckeye. sweet looking Dart. Gonna need a gallon or two of F8 myself...someday!
Hope the GTX works out.

That back quarter looks like it's got a square marker light too, so it's back to a 69. Check the radiator support numbers and make sure they match the sequence numbers on the fender tag. Missing fender tag, and I'd about bet you have a swapped dash serial number to make a GTX
