I just recently purchased a 70 RR with the 440. This is my first Mopar and I can't wait to see the car and drive it. I am currently stationed in Korea and I am due home in a month. Fortunately my Dad is helping me out with it. It is currently in the body shop getting stripped down and repainted back to its original Plum Crazy Purple. It has the white interior with bench seats and the pistol grip 4 speed. The engine and tranny are being taken out and reworked where they need it also. The total rebuild is being documented with many pics. None of which I have seen yet :( Being this far away during the restoration is driving me crazy. It will be all worth it when I get back home and am able to drive it. I have many plans for it, which I will slowly piece together as I find the parts for a decent price. I will be posting pics when I receive them. My Dad is on vacation right now, so I am waiting on him to get back to send me some. The only pics I have right now are the ones from the seller. I think he is slowly torturing me for all the stuff I did when I was younger. haha. I am looking forward to hearing from all of you and I am really glad I stumbled upon this site. There has been a lot of great info that I have already seen. Here is a pic before the resto started.

Great looking car! I am still not sure how someone could have painted it red when that Plum Crazy Purple looks so good. Mine will be similar, but I am still in search of the Air Grabber hood. I was also on the fence with adding the Go Wing, but I am leaning more towards yes now. Thanks for sharing.
