Dude you fine such great deals out there. Was thinking of renting a 12 car trailer and parking it in front of your house for a while and fill it up. I would have snagged up those A-bodies in a heart beat.

Well then we may need to talk. L.A. is a 12 hour drive for me. I have the same problem. Man can't have too many cars. There just like shoes to us.

A 1970 r/t that clean for that little money?? no way is my first thought

Seems too good to be true, or somebody does not know what they have.... Mine was not quite as nice 12 years ago and it was $10k

seems to me its been posted before as well

How does a scam work like this?
C/L is a local ad. Local people will come and look at the car.
So your standing in front of the car. Looking at the title. Owner is standing in front of you.
How does this scam work???????

i guess they are counting on what just happened here. they list a car and hope that someone far away will want it.....send money ( coz we all know we dont let cars go without the $$$$ first )..and never send the car....then part it out...coz keen eyes like ours will spot it in a second. thats how !

i was an absolute NERVOUS WRECK when i sent 6500.00 to some dude in Sacramento for my Javelin. i kept in constant contact with the guy and had a member here go look at it and KNOW WHERE HE LIVES.....so incase something bad happened. i at least knew where the car was sitting and if need be....make a trip to California do do some serious *** kicking!

before you say it...i know thats not a fool-proof plan...but its better than going into a sale blindly. i trusted the guy from this forum to have my back and i would GLADLY do that for anyone here!:headbang:

Quite like the last craigslist scam I found worked. They tell you the car is in storage and ready to be shipped. They can't get to it right now, but it will ship as soon as you give them the money. And all you have to do is trust them, it looks just like the pictures.

Funny, last time someone tried that with me. I couldn't get ahold of the shipping company, seemed to be a bad phone number. They didn't want to give me the address of the company, so I could go down and look for myself. And they were ridiculously loose on the price.

man people are crazy sending that kind of money out like that ! not everyone is out to rip someone off, but i would never pass that kind of cash unless i was standing right there in front of them and the car ! wow
