Everyone, I went to this last year and had a blast. Not only the old muscle car drags, they had a great car show and swap meet.

TICKETS NOW AVAILABLE! The 11th annual Holley NHRA National Hot Rod Reunion, June 13-15, 2013, at Beech Bend Park in Bowling Green, Ky., is a three-day festival of speed, hot rods and American automotive enthusiasm. Produced by the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum, the Reunion is part of the museum’s “living history” philosophy, which works to bring to life the sights, sounds and people who made history in the early days of drag racing, land speed racing and the golden age of American car culture. Unique among motorsports events, the Reunion honors some of the top names in hot rodding from the past and features a fabulous array of cool drag cars, street rods and customs of the historic and present-day hot rod eras. Spectators are invited to attend the Honoree reception Thursday night, June 13, at the Holiday Inn free of charge. Stroll the parking lot and check out the Reunion participants… you may even catch a Cackle or two as the sun goes down. For nonstop drag action, head to Beech Bend Raceway Thursday- Saturday. There will be loads of family-fun activities such as Hot Heads nostalgic drag racing, the sensational Cacklefest and SoffSeal Show N Shine. Information, including a full activities schedule, entry forms and tickets, are available through the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum at http://museum.nhra.com or by calling 1-800-884-NHRA (6472).

You are probably too far away even if you left right now.

If it's anything like the one we have at Famoso/Bakersfield NHRA 55th annual March Meet or the 22nd Calif. Hot Rod Reunion Oct.18-20, it will be a total blast...

I had an accident today in the shop while installing my new parts, both knees and my hands are very sore where I tried to catch myself, so I did not make it. Not sure about tomorrow as I would like to go but my left knee is very sore.
