Looking to purchase a direct connection mechanical sixpack setup. Holley Carbs #4782 #4783. Have shipping address in the US, but would prefer to have them shipped to Austria in central Europe.

I need the carbs and the throttle linkage only. Price i´m willing to pay is depending on condition but a grand plus shipping is about the maximum i´m thinking of paying for them if they are in very good condition and include the OEM linkage.

Please contact me with asking price and pictures thru PM or post right here.

Kind regards
Joerg

If its a mechanical set up, does that mean the two outer carbs are kicked in by the throttle linkage and not vacuum? Is there an advantage to that?

All the carbs are actuated at the same time with a mechanical linkage and have their own accelerator pump. The result when installing these is a alot better throttle response and no six pack acceleration delay. I need them for my Edelbrock STR 14-6 intake

I also need a set of 4782/4783 or preferrably 3 end carbs (4783), which have a larger venturi.
These will be for my old, over-the-counter Direct Connection / Wiend short tunnel ram intake that they were sold with for early SUPER STOCK use. These will go on a 500" wedge motor we are putting together for a 69 Barracuda N/SS project.

I may still have the throttle linkage, I'll have to dig in the garage shelf. If I do, it's been there since 1973.

Nobody has a setup for sale these days?

Still looking for a setup

Still looking for these carbs...

My set up is mechanical, 3 x 500's. I used a Ford tri-power linkage so it has sequential mechanical secondries (Or 3rdries?? LOL) Not all 3 carbs at once.

The carbs in the pick are not the mech set up! The direct connection carbs were 550 cfm and came with progressive linkage and worked very well.

I have a nice clean set,but that NOS set if true trumps mine. RT

It is really stunning that i do not manage to actually buy these carbs on here. I´ve had a few members me that they have the carbs for sale in all kinds of conditions. I never had a problem paying what these members where asking for the carbs but whenever i ask for actual pictures with a stupid little piece of paper, with a word i´ve choosen written on it, within the pictures to proof the ownership i don´t get a reply anymore. Am i doing something wrong?

i've had issues with internet buying/ selling and scammers. usually when a scammer is asked for some kind of verification they shut up. be careful about sending money without some kind of verification.

thats a good idea for proof..im gonna do that from now on..

You may have to get a set made up, try TMP Carbs, Troy made my set up. Make sure they fit on a Mopar manifold and that a six pack air cleaner fits!

I would say that is what he is looking for. they are mech type. look like good build-able carbs too

IMHFO, there's nothing wrong with the vacuum outboard carbs, you can use plates from ProMaxx or Quickfuel in the outboards that you can change the jets just like any std. Holley's, you can change the activation springs to lighter springs if you want the vacuum outboard carbs to come on quicker, I would highly suggest to put a better metering block, like a Quickfuel or Proform in the center carb either way, if set up correctly the outboards will only open when you need them to & only if you have enough vacuum to operate them & If tuned properly they work very well.... Good luck with your search either way... those mech. carbs look like the Ford style carbs... Good luck either way, I hope you find what your looking for...
