So I waited over 2 weeks to get all my throttle linkage, intake bolts, and throttle cable and intake gaskets from Indy Cylinder head. I go through a distributor so things go smoothly and don't have to deal with the morons over there.
So 1 week goes by and no parts. 1st they say no tunnlrams with 10 bolt pattern, so I tell him to order the 16 bolt pattern,4 days goes by and I get a call back saying no tunnelrams for 3-4 weeks.
Thank God for Georgehemirr.:headbang:
Another week goes by and I call the distributor Todd Marsh from North Carolina,(great guy BTW) and he promises me that Indy says it will be at your door on Wed.
So at 7:00pm, UPS shows up with a small box. I'm saying WTF!! I ordered inline crossram linkage for $155.00 NOT tunnelram linkage because I'm running dual AFB's, I know what I need for my application.
I open up the box and theres Enderle tunnelram linkage.:jerk: No gaskets, bolts or throttle bracket.
Called up Todd Marsh and said pick up the linkage, they sent the wrong one. I gave Todd the part # I wanted so there wouldn't be a mistake
My gut tells me Josh King at Indy did this to piss me off. He has an agenda due to me not going to any MMW races.
Anyway, I call up McMaster Carr get the correct bolts for $7.89 Indy wanted $40.00 for same 1/4-20 bolts called summit got the intake gaskets for$12.00 indy wanted $20.00, then called Enderle direct and got the correct throttle linkage for $32.55 and mancini had the throttle bracket for $49.00 that $80.00 total, Indy wanted $155.00 for same setup plus stupid shipping charges and a $20.00 drop ship FEE.:icon_fU:
So I got all parts within 2 days and saved over 50% of what Indy wanted for the same product.
Do yourself a favor and bypass Indy Cylinder Head whenever you can. Horrible customer service, horrible attitudes and totally overpriced on some items that they don't make.

Glad to hear it worked out for you. As for Indy, their wonderful customer service at Carlisle cost them my $1800 for heads,so I can totally agree.

funny you say that, I was prepared to give them $1550 for 2 tunnelrams plus linkage, gaskets, bolts, etc. totaling close to $2000.00 at Carlisle but Russ Flagle the narsicistic, bafoon, blew that sale too.Josh King playing his 2 faced personality sealed the deal.NO SALE.

Yes....glad to hear it worked out......now we are waiting to see the results at the track....fingers crossed it runs faster

The more I read about INDY, the less inclined I'd buy from them....................

Here is the truth for the Internet troll

Chris wanted to buy 2 intakes at Carlisle.

This is after he tried to convince a distributor of ours to let him purchase the parts at WD cost and pick them up at the show. Which was the distributor immediately phoned me to warn me of his antics.

So Chris then asked me for a price on the parts, which he was given the same price as any customer on the property, but that wasn't good enough. He felt like he needed a discount. No problem on my end.

So a few weeks go buy and I got an order for an tunnel ram intake and set if gaskets and a tunnel ram linkage kit.

Unfortunately we sold the last if out Hemi tunnel rams since that time and had been waiting for castings to come in. Which we still don't have but that is not the case.

Chris, your always looking for attention. I guess you need a big hug.

I could not care less that you don't come to my races. A matter if fact. Are you not the president if some nss group and you don't show up to those races either. But that's your deal not mine.

You think I'm going to let my feelings for you stop me from selling you parts? You are a sad individual if that's the case.

Get a life.

1st of all, that's not how it went down at all. Mr. Track promoter(who's in the red at every race you promoted). I called one of your distributors who i rthought was a friend (but isn't)to see if I could get his pricing and then proceed to give him his % of what he wanted since we were both at Beaver Springs and pay him cash.It would have been a win win situation for both of us. i called him to ask permission to do so. He declined because he said he really didnt want to do business with Indy if he didnt have to anymore.
If i called him ahead of time and then talked to you I wasnt trying to get over on anyone.Einstein.If i was going to try an go around him, would I have called him before talking to you?
Only one who lost out was Indy and you.
You cant even get an order straight. I ordered inline throttle linkage and you send me tunnelram linkage when Todd marsh gave you the correct part#. that I gave him. I have been told that from a few guys who have bought parts from you. Then you wont take them back without a 15% restocking fee and they have to pay their own freight back.
No intake gaskets, intake bolts and wrong throttle linkage makes for 2 weeks of wasted time IMO.
Trust me I'm not looking for any attention especially from you. I just want potential buyers to be aware of the way your company and you do business.
In the future i'll only build stage V or B1. NEVER another Indy motor especially if you are working there.
2 weeks to get the wrong part. You should be ashamed of yourself.

funny thing Josh, you didnt have the guts to say anything to my face. Only behind my back. I went right up to you to tell you i wanted to buy not only 2 intakes but the extra parts as well. INDY BEWARE!!
