I like them covers they sure look good :headbang:

That's freakin awesome radiator! I wish they did 28" radiators for 73, I might call them tomorrow anyway!!

Glen-Ray, great guys, great work, very nice to work with. I sent them a radiator to have repaired after paying a local place to "fix it" a lot of money only to have it come back top tanks crushed and cooling elements twisted in frame. They took mine, sent me one that looked like they just made it (perfect, straight, painted and all mounting hardware)and such a great price I felt like they weren't getting paid enough (when was the last time that happened with mopar parts?). Was so appreciative i got extra business cards from them and will display them with car at shows when it is finally together. You can't go wrong with Glen-Ray. Their transmission cooler and power steering cooler is on my ""to buy list", and I will be sending them my heater core for rebuild.

Yes! Bob is a great guy to deal with and always has time for his customers!!! The radiator is so beautiful I hate to put it in the car and I dread the day that a bug hits it. :(

Hey 440Beep, glad you posted this, many thanks!!!!!!!!!! I just talked to Bob and they actually have NOS Blackstone tanks for my 28 inch radiator, you just made my week and build, now I can have new original radiator instead of the skinny aftermarket one that I am using now in my car!!!!!!!!!! They are going to completely rebuild my original and should have the original numbers stamped, correct finish, etc!!!! I am geeked up now!!!

I felt the same way about mine...card board cut to fit front and back during install and whenever working near radiator will keep her pretty and working well...

I have a mosquito net in front of mine when I drive, easy to take away if you so want, works perfect.

Likewise. I'm using the same thing on my current radiator and will continue with the new one.

Yep, they are great to deal with. IDrive, you know there are 2 28 inch rads in 73 depending on what the date of your car is.

What is this supposed to represent?

It's just Bob's way of keeping track of the radiators that he builds for customers. I was curious to see if you had gotten the same radiator that I just traded back to him a month or two ago. I had a '054 from him that I eventually determined to be the wrong radiator for my car, it was brand new, never installed and I traded it back to him for the correct one. Would have been funny if it had been the same one and ended up in your car since you are only about 40 miles west of me. But mine was #68, so yours is a different one. Thanks for checking though. :eek:ccasion14:

No worries!! Anything for a Mopar buddy!!

And I hate my car!!! Stupid headers, stupid starter. Its always the little things that create issues when trying to get the motor out. Stupid headers!! Should just put the HP manifolds back on.

Ye s, I talke d to Bob about all that and we determined I have the original radiator for my car, and we could upgrade it from 2 core to a 3 core which he said some were either way depending if it was a max cool or not, and he has seen both part numbers be either way. Cool dude, and he provided lots of detail about my car and optons.
