I heard that I could use an E Body bucket seat track for my b body 73 Roadrunner! Any thoughts! Previous owner installed Ford Escort buckets in my RR, I finally bought nice original RR buckets, but guy didn't have tracks for them. Hard to find these around. Just missed a pair of tracks for b body on this forum that sold! So will any other ones work? Thanks for your help. Steve

I'm nearly certain E and 71 - 74 B brackets are shorter than 68-70 B body brackets

Heck, E body brackets were even too short for an E body! I'm 69" :D and put 1/2" spacers under mine to get where I like to be but usually B body seats sit too high for my liking too. But to answer your question, I dunno. If they aren't too expensive, I suppose they would work better than nothing at all....?

The e body tracks are shorter as stated above they will bolt up perfect all you need is a spacer if the height concerns you I just did the same thing not to long ago .

Anything's better then escort seats ,

Reproduction E body seat tracks are available aftermarket now. I'm pretty sure PG classics repops them and they may be available from Classic Industries too. They are not inexpensive though so beware. Just do on online search.
