I am trying to decide whether or not to put that C stripe back on my car? Opinions and various insults expected and encouraged.

My car is a 67 with the Diamond Blue and my stripe is suppose to be black to match the top

I like the C-Stripe, but looks fine without too

The C strip Actualy makes the car look Shorter from a distance. But as stated it looks good as is . Realy up to you. If it was Mine I would put it on. I had 69 fast backs and always had the lower strip down the side. Sporty !!!

My favorite is a 67 Fastback....had 5 Mustangs in the mid 70's with two of them being a 65 and a 66 Fastback. If it wasn't for the reason of breaking them so often, I might still have one. I think they look good with it or not. What's in it for power etc?

i'd leave it the way it is. already has the c-stripe stamped in the body panels.

Never cared for the 69 and newer Mustangs.....you did good lol

I appreciate the comments. Like you guys I like it both ways I'm thinking the consensus goes with putting it back on when I paint it. it was delivered with it and to the purity it officially goes back on. Thanks guys

So Cranky
she goes something like this
I'm the second owner, she's been with me for 9 years this past May.
it is a (almost a survivor car with exception to a fender bender in 74) hence the repaint in 74.
289 2v
FMX tranny
Sprint SPort package * these usually only come with 6cyl cars
Console (part of Sprint Sport package)
Diamond Blue...one of 35 for 67 but the color was available in 68 as noted by the ebay car
power steering
Power brakes
Style Steel wheels
1968 upgraded Disc brakes (aka it was a week late in production and they were throwing left over stuff on it which is okay by ME :) )
A/C
Power Top
* it is rumored to have a luggage rack on back...but I can not confirm this so it is questionable if it goes back on.
Premium hood with Signals ...the original was damaged in the "slight" accident aka fender bender
Chrome wheel well trim (I'll put that back on too)

1967-70 are the only ones I like until the {like 2012 Hurst Edition GT500} New Shelby's...LOL
I'm a fastback/sportroof type guy too, my favorite was a 69 Boss 302 Anti-Establish Mint {green}
& black reflective stripes, I'm not big on any of the styles & years of any others...

Only had a couple, usually not for very long either...
Haven't owned one in decades now, would only own a fastback too....

Just my likes & dislikes, ****-ness...LOL

LOL Cranky. My wife ask if I was okay with selling the Mach I. Trust me I did it right and she (the 71) loved her some CHEVELLE 454!!!!

With that aside, it was just a hotrod for me I was not a fan of the 71 just a good deal at the time. I told her you dont understand I've wanted a 66-70 b body all my life. so I took the profit and Bought Mrs. Beast!

YEAH i upgraded imo!!!

STRIPE IT... And NEVER take a picture of your car in the rain, especially a convertible, lol.. Now you can never say "car never seen rain"...

Convertible 69 Satellite to make a gtx clone or a convertible coronet 500 to make an R/T clone, 1 of them is going to b my next project, except I am going Hemi...

To many Fords in your driveway, hehe.

If your car came with the stripe put it on since your not really hotrodding it. Keep it as pure as possible for resale/trade purposes. Beautiful car though either way.
