For Sale, due to a cheating wife.....

Had a similar circumstance myself with wife #2 in 1990 - the grass is always greener on the other side so she thought. Lost a 250K house/ furniture/ bank account/new car and walked away with 10K, 81 Ramcharger and my 67 GTX. She did the boo-hoo/boo-hoo on the stand and the c*#k sucker judge swallowed it right up. What a C*NT!!!!!!!

If a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend happens to see this and recognize the car and tell the bitch about it, it kinda then becomes a problem.

No, not really. Does the guy mention her name at all in that window ad? We don't know. But whether he does or not, I don't see slander here. No. I'm not an attorney, but to me, common sense applies here. How does one slander a person if their name is not mentioned???

Did the EX-wife, ever get to see what’s behind the Green Door.........

People wonder why people lose their minds...This was done solely for spite, if you ask me. Most States favor the woman, no matter what. The guy is ALWAYS on the short end of the stick, as far as courts are concerned.

You need to hide your money better and never ever tell your in-laws what your hobbies are and what they are worth. never ever talk money!

Divorce is tough and some states from what some guys tell me are very hard on the Male. But i'll tell you what there are more than plenty of guys who skip out on there obligations, its a two way street.. Im no divorce lawyer but i thought marital property gets divided and that car does not exclusively belong to one or the other person. This guy I'm sure has the option to buy out his wife. My buddy had the same situation,he had the car appraised and gave her half.

That is in "joint property" states. What is yours is hers and vice versa. Joint property is BS. If I have assets before I enter a marriage in my name, and I do not declare them as "ours", then why the hell would the ex-spouse deserve ANY of that? That is simply wrond.

And yes, there are deadbeat dads...AND moms! You can bet the alimony on that.

Sad to say. But prenups are the only way to go if you have assets. Most first marriages you don't. Second time around is a different story. Protect your assssets.

How is this slander??? If he doesn't mention her name in the ad in the window, how is anyone going to know her name???

Having never been married. It's really sad that the male species don't see things like this during the dating game time and blow her off before it's to late, maybe guys are pussy whipped???? Sorry it happened to you.

Slander or defamation is the action or crime of making a false spoken statement damaging to a person's reputation.
Defamation is a catch-all term for any statement that hurts someone's reputation. Written defamation is called "libel," and spoken defamation is called "slander." Defamation is not a crime, but it is a "tort" (a civil wrong, rather than a criminal wrong). A person who has been defamed can sue the person who did the defaming. Ok, so since it's not spoken, it's not slander but anyone can file a lawsuit on anyone at any time and for any reason. Can he prove she cheated? Would it matter if he could prove it? And common sense and the legal system is an oxymoron. I've been in court a couple of times and have been on jury duty enough times to see that there is no common sense in the court room. Also, there is no such thing as innocent until proven guilty. You are guilty from the very moment a charge is filed or someone files a lawsuit against you and the game is on to see how much money they (lawyers) can get out of you in the process of putting you in jail or not. The justice system in the U.S. is probably the best in the world but is far far FAR from being a good one and that right there is scary.

It's easy to sway a young mind especially when the other 'party' (me) wasn't allowed to spend very much time around that child. Even when we were still married and living together, the wife never let me be alone with my daughter because she was 'afraid' to let her out of her sight. She was one messed up woman but that trait didn't show very much until our daughter was born and things went downhill from there. I remarried and swore that would never happen again and it didn't!

The guy with the car for sale needs to be careful because if the cheater sees it, she can take him back into court for slander.

I have a buddy that happened to after the baby was born. 180 degree change and then the MIL moved in.

Just more proof that taking a wife is exactly like buying a classic Mopar. If all you see is the nice shiny exterior and body curves, and not all the rust, bad wiring, worn rings, dry-rotted rubber, sagging headliner, holed carpets, and split seats under that exterior, you're gonna be spending a whole lot more money, and in for a lot more grief, than you planned on. :)

If it weren't for a few anatomical items they have there would be a bounty on them!!!

My soon to be ex son in law just burnt down his house in spite of the pending divorce. Now he sitting in jail with a contempt charge. Wasn't much of a house not many assets.

Dang, he needs to take lessons from my 'I wish he was my ex son in law' because he did pretty much the same thing to my oldest daughter's house and got away with it!! Only he did it mainly for the insurance money so he could buy even more drugs. We helped her buy it before they got married. Fast forward 10 years and she's in hiding. I stay away from all that drama because.....well, read my sig :D He knows to stay off of my property too.

Colorado is a no-fault state. What was yours before the marriage is yours after the divorce. Here she would have to prove to the courts why she should have the car or force a sale of it. Been there 3 times and I kept everything that was mine before the marriage all 3 times. Now if you had something and it increased in value while married then she is entitled to half of the increased value such as a house.

I feel for the dude...

Life goes on...

My old buddy Tony used to say in his Jersey accent, "If it's got tits or tires, you're gonna have trouble with it".

When i met my current future ex-wife I told her that she would have to marry me for love because I was flat broke after my divorce..... after we got married she said "you're right"

Some one needs to shut up and go buy that car!! Dont know the situation there....the guy might a dick too.....who cares. Its for sale and i am sure the price will be negotiable!!

Texas is supposed to be that way too but when I told 'her' lawyer that I had 10 grand before we got married he wanted to know if I had the actual serialized dollar bills. I asked him what planet he came from.....and this ahole represented me in a car wreck years earlier and he was the guy I always called when I needed questions answered etc. My X was kinda nice about some things and told him she didn't want to rake me over the coals and told me about all the things he wanted for her to do to me. I simply told her the more he got us to fight meant that more of our money would go into his pockets. After the divorce, I told everyone that I had recommended to use him in prior years to not use him and what a scumbag he was.
