swapping motors

Hi. Can anyone tell if the floor shift linkage (auto 727) off my small block be the same setup with a BB Block and the associated BB 727 auto?

Just a guess, but I'm betting it will work. I base this upon the fact that my floor shift linkage (72 Charger) from a small block 904 worked just fine with a big block 727. I had to switch a bracket (and maybe the lever/arm from the transmission where it connects to the valve body, I don't recall. It's been a while) from the 904 to the 727 and that was about it. I don't know just what your linkage looks like for 66-70 models, but I would think it most likely would only be different in dimensions but function about the same as mine. If I'm wrong, somebody on here will correct me...
