62 dart fever

I admit i'm crossing over a little from FABO ! small collection of early A's. but I sorely miss a B body with any v 8. especially an early B Body, especially a 62 !!! I have a 62 Lancer, sorta a miniature 62 Dart!
life is short so i have been hunting an affordable project. i found a rustfree ,straight 62 2 door dart, v8 k frame, roller. missing front bumper and a door glass. otherwise trim, grill , lens, all good, interior all there, i figure $2500 is fair.????? not expecting to steal one, just fair price. i;m in Missouri and cars are decently priced.
I've always wanted to convert a 4 door but never have stumbled on a wreck for the 2 door donor parts.

Seen one up at the Indy Swap meet in March at indy fairgrounds. Old race car and only wanted $5000, if I remember right. And I make all the fiberglass parts for that car.

Yes, think I might have seen something about this car also. "rusty but......... " If you want it snag it up before somebody else does. Sounds like on of those deals where you will kick yourself if you don't. I love those 62s too. Nothing like em.

Agree, that's a steal (depending of how rust free it really is I guess)...

62's are the best, most people know that. Anybody that disagrees is wrong :icon_fU:

I've gotton to the age where I hate to drive 600 mi one direction. used to think nothin of it. its listed in CL in eastern colo. if anyone interested. I found a 4 door pretty solid one that's been sitting out in a cow pasture for $975 local. 318 poly froze. I wouild love to do the 2 door operation but finding that parts car cheap enough ! ha ..... going to pick up a 67 bel project.

I cut up a 2 door years ago and have the parts to convert if you're not in a hurry.

I let the more door get away. I found a good 2 door but was days ride one way, too far for me to want to drive! I picked up a 67 bel 1 that I will make into a B B car next spring. adding on to m y open car shed right now with an enclosed 24 x 32 that I will be able to actually HEAT!!! t ha
thanks anyway... , if I had found your pm in time I would have picked up the 62 4 door.
