The only legible number on it is 950477. I got it when I bought the car. The previous owner had it removed and installed a "smoother cam". I did some searching but I can't seem to find the lift/duration specs on it. Probably a shot in the dark but can anyone help me out? Thanks!

Nothing like that number in my records....also, it should be 7 digits but even if I run the last 6, nothing is there. Do you have any way to measure what the lift is?

I'll try it tonight with my dial indicator on the work bench and see what I can come up with. Will that give the info you need to know what it is??

I set up a jig last night and did some measuring... From what I could tell the intake and exhaust had the same lift at one time. Some of the lobes are worn and I got measurements from .316" up to .330". That's a difference of .021" at the valve so I'll assume this cam is garbage. Thanks for checking Cranky!

With 1.5 rockers, I got .474 for the lower number and .495 for the other. Possibly be -- http://www.summitracing.com/parts/dcc-4452993ae/overview Had no luck finding any kind of reference to that number though. Did those numbers change on all of the lobes or on certain ones? Was thinking that it might have a different lift for the exhaust vs the intake?

Measure the diameter of the base circle with calipers/micrometer. Then measure from bottom of base circle to top of lobe. The difference is the lift at lobe.

I'm surprised that nobody mentioned Mopar's Purple Shaft.

I think its a full race purple shaft cam

Sorry, just having fun.

Don't know of any Mopar cams with that much lift difference between intake and exhaust lifts.....and the link that Schober Motorsports listed was for a .474/.474 but he mentioned something I'd like to know too is if the lift measurements changed on just the exhaust lobes or if it varied on the intakes too.
