How does one stop replies from postings on this forum from appearing on there e-mail and now my phone. I seemingly did whatever was advised, but they still appear on my phone which is really annoying the crap out of me. Yes I'm computer challenged so bear with me and thanks

I had to click unwatch thread in the upper right corner on each post I was getting updates emailed. Problem is, it defaults to watching the thread each time you post a reply. I think the more options button allows you to uncheck it, but I would be better if this would default the opposite way, so I could click watch the thread after posting instead.

It drives me mad too, I've cancelled subscriptions to threads but somehow I keep having a miliion Emails to delete as if there's not enough already. Not a huge deal but very annoying.

OK, I fixed it for all three of you --

What you didn't do was change your alert preferences.

For everyone else....... To do this, click your name on the top right of the page and look for PREFERENCES and deselect these check boxes:
