I am trying to find (4) 9/16-13 x 3.25 Hex washer (flange) head bolts. They are listed on page 4.2-4-8 in the MMC Detroit Dodge Vehicle Restoration Reference Manual. It has a tapped hole for the 5/16 x .50 bolt (for the brake hose mounting bracket). Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Pm me if you still need them. This is for the fixed caliper Bendix 4 piston unit. Each caliper uses 3 tie bolts, two drilled one not is this correct?

Thanks - I took the bolts to a machine shot and they tapped the bolts. Painful, but they are on the car.

Go

Got to ask. Composite or metal pistons?
Metal - original motor.

Sorry but was asking about the brakes not the engine.
Sorry, they are A1 Cardone calipers. They appear to be metal. If I had more experience I would have went with another company I found later on line. I can't think of the name right now but they sell the actual caliper (rebuilt).

i'll take six of those bolts once someone starts turning them up

Harmon Classic Brakes was the company I could not remember earlier. Regardless, the bracket is on the caliper and I am moving on to the next project on the car.

bolts not available through them either
You are correct - you can not purchase the bolts from Harmon. However, you can purchase the calipers with the correct bolts. That was my original point earlier. If I purchased the Harmon calipers instead of the A1 Cardone calipers, I could have avoided the whole bolt issue completely. Still Learning

i hear you but unfortunately i'm in too deep already but you live and learn

I'm glad I'm not the only one that can't find these bolts. Tomorrow I'll be sending a local custom bolt manufacturer an RFQ to see if they can make them.
