Cool GTX build in NZ

That's a major amount of fabrication going on there and it looks really nice. The thumbnails worked ok for me.

Sweet looking build. Dumb question though - it that a 70 GTX? Maybe it's the white cause the lines don't look quite right.

Sweet ride.

Its a 68. i love everything except the rockers. with all that floor pan work they shouldve lowered the car and put the exhaust through the stock rocker not "fake lower" the car by making extended rockers. Adding those massive extended wheel wells front and back couldve fit the same size rubber without their rocker mods. the sexiest part of this generation mopar is the coke bottle styling, and you lose almost all of that "feel" by making the height from the side windows to the bottom of the rocker several inches larger. Makes ot look like a 2011 chrysler 300, just a chopped brick sitting on top of a brick. not a fan. then they shouldve kept the bumper thin like that but shortened up the front and rear valances to line up with the stock rockers. it looks cool but not at all sleek like any stock 68-70 b body already is. i love that custom grille. So simple. makes me want to spend ten minutes on cad at work and have our waterjet vendor price out a few pieces. I already use those exact rouncd aluminum spacers on several parts. based of some of the other parts ive had done, this would cost less then stock repro grilles. make it in aluminum or stainless and buff it to a mirror. easy peasy.

I've met the owner/builder of this car a few times - he lives only a couple of miles from me. Neat car and some seriously cool fab work happening there. Terry the Chassis man (pictured earlier in the photo gallery) is a really talented guy, and can build stuff without drawings....just in his brain.
I wonder who leaked the idea I came up with to french a modern Challenger fuel cap to Ian. I guess he saw it at the beach Hop and nicked the idea....Flattery. :)

I don't know what it is with NZ but I am LOVING the cars coming out of there. I found a pic of this car a couple weeks ago and saved it to my phone because it's the first I've seen somebody do something different with the bumper on these cars. I really dig it!
