At car shows, you often see the puddles from guys who can't resist topping it off before the run. Leave 2".

Unless the thermostat just happens to stick for a moment. Or sometimes under hard acceleration. That's why the tracks require a can.

Agree, under normal conditions the coolant level will find itself and be good.

That's the one I have and it works very well. It was easy to install. I did not pay $49 for it, though. Shop around and you can find a better price.
