who has had there speedometers rebuilt, and by who? and were you happy with there work and the cost, thx, Scoot

No one has had speedos rebuilt?

I had 2 done by Shannon at Redline and 1 by Instrument Specialties. Both did a great job, but Redline was a bit cheaper so thats why he did the second one for me.

I had all my gauges rebuilt by Instrument Specialties. Very pricey and since I didn’t install them and test everything out some things aren’t kosher with all of them. The speedo looks and works fine. All the gauges look first class. The tach is a bit suspect and the temp gauge doesn’t seem to work correctly. Since I was several years removed from their work vs. installation (dumb on my part) I didn’t do back to them. I had to have some local work done and am still screwing around with them. I don’t know what you can take from this - other than to say IS is expensive and in my case not reliable.
