68 Plymouth SS build

Welcome from Ohio & definitely keep updates coming.

Just out of curiosity, would the original trunk mat still be in the car? This is a very early built car and just trying to determine the trunk mats as used on the early 68 Plymouth B-Bodies. Thanks for your help. As the others have said, keep it as a Sport Satellite, but it is still your car, so enjoy and do with it as you please. Have fun

Unfortunately the trunk mat is gone. And yes, this is staying a Sport Satellite!:D

Not too much going on. Got a free 1973 Dodge motorhome with a 440. Shows only 27 k original miles. I know these motors are low compression so pistons will be replaced. Thinking stealth, sidewinder or rpm heads. Lots to read and plan out but will keep updating!

Also can anyone tell me if there is a way to tell if its cast or forged crank?

Well finally got the motorhome to a friends house and started to disassyble. Between the rain and snow itd slowed progress down but finally got the 440 out and on the engine stand. Even got my dad out there giving me a hand one day.

Nice start. Looking at your balancer, it looks like you’ve got a steel crank 440

Way late up dates! Still at it. Its been slow trying to figure a plan of attack! And although I knew this Sport Satellite needs alot of work to get it up to par, I'm building it for me! She is a bit rough and I'm sure I could have found something a little more solid but doesnt every mopar deserve to be saved! Especially after reading the threads on this site! But I do have some questions. But first pictures!!!

Went to pick n pull this last weekend, 50% off everything sale!, found a 72 d100, got some 346 heads to replace the 440 motor home 213s and a 489 case to build later on. Not sure on cam yet, open to suggestions, still reading as much as possible on low compression builds. Plan is to replace floor boards, torsion bar x member. Get US tools weld in subframe connectors, torque boxes, and spring relocation kit (factory boxes are rotted)

Then i gotta get the front squared up. Looks like its been "tweaked" a bit to,the drivee side. Radiator support has a bend at the top that doesnt look correct, wasnt sure if the K member engine mounts are supposed to be offset a little bit?

Welcome - sweet project you have there. Plenty of resources on this site to help with what you need.
