Help: 1964 SF chrome drip edge molding removal.

I finally figured it out. There are 4 clips (almost impossible to see) that along with the forward end of the molding (which slides under the windshield corner molding) hold the molding in place.

The clips snap on the bottom of the driprail lip. If you can “unsnap” the forward clip from the rail you are then able to pull the molding forward and it slides off the clips.

I’m posting this reply from my iPad and am unable to post a photo of the clips. I’ll do so within the next day or so....thanks to all that commented..

There are four of these clip that hold the chrome drip rail cover on the drip rail. The top fingers slide into the groove on the trim piece, the bottom slides into the groove on the bottom of the trim piece. The lower part snaps on the drip rail....hope this makes sense.

Thanks, 64SF!

Strange. I don't remember clips like that on my trim.
No big deal. Ain't gonna pull it back off, to find out! :jackoff:
