Cold start / idle / rev :p

The video is so deceiving, my iPhone 6S can't capture the actual sound as it's well above hearing safe. The car is quieter on the inside than with standard performance exhaust systems, absolutely no drone. All the noise / vibration is pushed out of the authentic Nascar boom tubes which are heavy wall 3.5" oval tubing, much thicker than I've ever seen for sale anywhere.

Did you drop your phone/camera? Great sound too!!!

The exhaust blew the trash can around the phone was resting on, my father picked it up. The exhaust is nearly open header loud, in the video you really can’t tell.

Jacksonville FL. with a cold start? Come up here in the North to get a real cold start. Mother Nature is threatening us with 70* on Friday. We forgot what that will feel like.

Thats nice. Did you have to make and adjustments for the cold start settings?

I know it’s kind of cheating, it was in the 50’s yesterday, it was only around 71* when I filmed this.

Yes, I’ve been making small fuel prime adjustments every day, total of around 5-minutes on the handheld. I’m running an M1-4500 with 2” spacer so it’s a long way down into the cylinders.

I actually shutdown and restarted the car a few seconds after the phone fell, just to show how quickly it cranks when warm; which was instant. The fuel prime percentage and multiplication adjusts based on the CTS reading, so it’s fairly ‘smart’ and shouldn’t have to worry about any flooding scenario when warm. I could fine tune this on the laptop.

You may see some ‘smoke’ when I revved but it’s condensation from the exhaust. It was raining the entire day prior to this. The car was sitting under the carport after rearranging the garage.

would you post pics of how u did fuel pump

I’m running a sumped fuel cell in the trunk, with an Aeroquip -10 AN return line and -8 AN forward feed line. Aeromotive 100-micron filter pre-pump and It goes into a Y-fitting -6 AN and feeds twin Walbro 255’s (mounted on frame rails) but I only run one with this system. I don’t have a post-pump filter at the moment and I’m just relying on the 10-micron internal filter on the Sniper.

Total of around 40’ of -10/-8 and 6’ -6.

Beautiful car, awesome sound. I would love to do Fuel injection at some point . Would love to see some under the hood shots. Thanks for sharing,

I'll shoot some this weekend, I had fuel dumping all over my intake manifold after my previous carburetors accelerator pump diaphragm started leaking on a 250-mile trip two weeks ago.
