Did you check if that kit works for your 1974 model? Year to year can be different.

Yea I used the dropdowns to confirm aside from relying on the heading
Chrysler Torqueflite-6 A904 Rebuild Kit
1972-98 TF-6

1974 > Dodge > Special Edition Hard Top > Special Edition Hardtop 2-Door >
5.2L 318Cu. In. V8 GAS Naturally Aspirated

I took a micrometer to em and there actually is a very slight difference between em. Since they all had the same coloring, and they were all combined in a baggie made it seem like someone just grabbed 8 frictions and stuffed em in there. Under good light im now able to see there is a slight pattern to one set. All is well in the world!

By the way, what's your guys' take on Alto Green High Energy Friction plates? The ones I have look grey more than anything but mybe I'm going color blind. I went on the Alto website and don't see anything about no "green" friction plates. All the rave is around the reds and the basic ones being tan colored frictions.

The only similar results I got were from Allibaba (Chinese Ebay) for bulk sales of these grayish green looking plates. I'm wondering if it's something made up by the rebuild kit builders to make their kit seem more appealing?

Back in "the day"...the green waffle plates were the bomb, and IIRC using the reverse plates for the forward application provided a better % adhesion.

Forward frictions should be .083", rears .061"
